SENATE Reunites, Announces New Lineup And Reunion Show

December 6, 2010

Canadian progressive thrash band SENATE has reunited after nearly three years away from the stage. The revamped lineup includes founding members Jay Siebert, Matt Di Franco, Jay Hudson and new addition, George Parfitt (drums, ex-THREAT SIGNAL). The band has auditioned several bass players and will make an announcement shortly.

SENATE will unleash three songs that were recorded shortly before the band's breakup but never released and will play the first reunion show in the group's hometown of St. Catharines, Ontario on March 18.

SENATE plans to play several shows throughout the spring/summer of 2011, and then set to work on the follow-up to its critically acclaimed effort, "The Great Northern Scenekill", which was released in December 2006.
